To date, 43 people have died, nearly 9,000 homes have been destroyed, up to 200,000 acres have burned and 100,000 people were forced to evacuate in Northern California since the wind fueled firestorms broke out the night of Oct. 8, 2017. The deadliest series of wildfires in California history have killed people in four counties. Sonoma County bore the brunt of loss with 23 lives, more than half the total, lost there. After 19 days, the last fire in Redwood Valley was under full containment. We are lending our support to help recover and rebuild our community by donating 40% of the proceeds of our 2014 Wildlands Zinfandel through December 31st, 2017 to CA Wine Strong , a network formed by wine industry leaders to provide immediate and long term assistance to fire victims. Together, we will move forward.
